Graphic Overlays

NImbus Interface Solutions produces a wide variety of Graphic Overlays to suit the interface you are designing. The Graphic Overlay is both the visual element and, to a lesser degree, the tactile element in the user’s interface with your switch.

Material Considerations

Material options include Polyester and Polycarbonate. We generally recommend Polyester where the design involves flexing the overlay to make the circuit due to the greater durability of polyester. Where this is not a consideration, Polycarbonate offers a greater variety of available surface finishes.

Manufacturing Options

Graphic Overlays can be enhanced in a variety of ways including:
Embossing
Transparent readout windows,
Hardcoating for extra durability
Patterned adhesive
4 colour printing with outdoor fade resistance
